About Me
I am an Assistant Professor of Operations & Information Management in School of Business at the University of Connecticut. Prior to moving to New England, I did my doctoral study in McCombs School of Business at the University of Texas at Austin, and received my Ph.D. in Information Systems in 2008. In 2004 and 2002 respectively, I received my M.S. and B.S. in Computer Science and Information Engineering from National Taiwan University, Taiwan.
My research interests include virtual communities and social networks, business intelligence, and networked economy. In particular, I study the network dynamics among virtual groups, online user behavior, and the business impact of online social networks. I am also interested in studying the informational value of virtual communities from the perspectives of e-commerce and online marketing.
In my leisure time, I enjoy music, traveling, watching sports, going to the movies, and hanging out with friends.
