OPIM 300: Object Oriented Programming and Business Applications
  The focus of this course is on the use of object oriented programming for developing business applications. The students will use the object-oriented/event-driven language of Visual Basic. NET to learn and implement the concepts. Students will learn how to plan and create their own interactive Windows and Web applications. Graphical User Interface (GUI) design skills are also taught and emphasized throughout this course. Upon completion of this course, students should be able to use the programming skills they learn to solve business problems and develop user-friendly business applications.
OPIM 370: Systems Development
  This is project-based, capstone MIS course which focuses on synthesizing and integrating the knowledge set from the component MIS courses in the program. The key requirement for the course is the design and development of a comprehensive information system that adheres to the concepts of system development life cycle, and demonstrates viable business functionality. The students are expected to develop a functional prototype system that is web-based and is implemented within in the .NET framework.
